We are quite interested in the State of Maryland. Usually when folks go to the trouble of filing out an application for membership in the SIP or Federation of States it is because of deep and studied convictions and awareness of the awesome Federal Empire rising up over us coupled with the obvious futility of trying to reform the bureaucratic monster by voting for one or the other of its creators, the DEM or the GOP. The Federal monster arose with power and blood under Abraham Lincoln, but the Federalists who nourished it had managed to chip away at the grand confederacy of our forefathers of 1776 destroying bit by bit State's rights and Sovereignty. Few people indeed, however, know that Abraham Lincoln was a hard core Marxist in 1848 when he supported Karl Marx in Marx's abortive attempt to over throw the German government. Few people today, that is. Many Statesmen knew about the dangerous radical socialist Abraham Lincoln in 1860 and they watched the election process while Lincoln's new Republican party became infiltrated with high calabur German Marxists who, in turn, arranged for hoards of German immigrants to cross borders of several States to illegally vote to elect Lincoln. Those Statesmen who witnessed these events and who knew what it would mean for States Right's saw no other choice but to get their legislators to vote to secede and form a new national government that would maintain the values of their founding fathers who defeated the British twice and that would honor the soveriegnty of their respective Southern States. As you know, the formed the Confederate States of America.

We are honored that you desire to be part of our movement today. The National SIP is being run on a provisional basis by the Federation of States and shall be so run until we have obtained grass roots coverage of the thirteen States we are now working with by developing at least 17 - 23 county chairmen or chairwomen in each of those States and by perhaps adding another 7 or eight states. This process is explained several places in our literature, but read the most recent article on the Federation of States web page entitled: WORK FOR THE FUTURE FOR FREE SOUTHERN SKIES at www.FederationofStates.org.
The Federation of States is a truly State's Rights type organization being composed of a council of State SIP Chairmen who each have one vote. They elect, by simple majority, their own Chairman, who at this time is Dennis Joyce. The Federation functions as a State SIP chartering and organizing group and once States become organized, a coordinating group for general action. However, even a unanimous vote by the Federation Council to undertake some action or position does not obligate any State Executive Committee to comply. Each State maintains their own right to join or not to join a particular action or position. Should that occur it gives pause to the rest of the Chairmen who may wish to modify the action or stand even though it had already passed the Council vote. A good confederacy tries not to step on the toes of their State members nor to try to run their state for them.
As for Maryland, we need to begin organization in your State as we do in others by gaining members of and financial support for the Federation of States. It costs around $275 to get a basic Web page up and about $65/mo. to support that page with a host server and web master. Once in a while we find a member who can and does send a substantial donation, but normally just getting the $50/year membership dues is tough. Thus we generally need several members in a State to finance the Web page and hopefully some of those members will agree to function as a county chairman for the SIP of Maryland.
With a membership in the Federation, my new book will be sent to you as needful material for recruiting. That book will open up interest from among conservatives and DAR ladies who otherwise would not consider involvement in the Restoration and Liberation of the Confederate States of America.
We are the real thing and we have a real workable plan which is designed to avoid destruction of property and bloodshed because we must do this peacefully through the political process at the State level. In most of our States they have already seceded and all that is needed is for their official re-affirmation of Statehood in the Confederate States of America and such States may then send delegates to provisionally reseat the government which never surrendered and which has a ratified CSA Constitution still standing. In the case of Maryland, she was prevented militarily from performing secession which otherwise she would have done. Thus, Maryland must perform an act of secession prior to formally and legally joining the Confederate States of America. A similar plight awaits Oklahoma and New Mexico which were both territories in those days.
It would be ludicrous for Texas, for example, to secede now, for legally Texas is still a State of the Confederate States of America. What we see in Texas is a satellite State of the Federal Union of the U. S. which was created by military force and involuntarily thrust upon the hapless citizens who had voted by referendum 97% for secession from the U. S. and was among the first 7 states of the CSA.
Secession by Texas would simply mean leaving the Confederate States of America and thus sanctifying their Statehood in the Federal Union of the United States.
Nevertheless, we need to organize the grass roots of those trans-States such as Maryland and prepare the people for entry into the New Southern Nation.
